Stephen Sills (decorator) and Charlotte Worthy (architect) have created a truly one-of-a-kind masterpiece at 888 Park Avenue. The apartment was completely renovated, and refinished with chic and new high-end finishes, while retaining the hallmarks of grand prewar Park Avenue buildings. Upon entering the apartment from a semi-private vestibule, one enters a beautifully proportioned gallery which leads to all of the main entertaining spaces which have fine Parquet de Versailles wood flooring. The south facing living room is 29’ in length and has a Louis XIV mantle surrounding a wood-burning fire place. Each of the secondary bedrooms has an abundance of closet space, built-in cabinetry and beautiful hand painted wallpaper. The secondary bathrooms have polished Quarzo Bianco/Cristallo slab throughout with glass tile showers. Thoughtful additions are found in every detail of the finishes.
